Our mission statement here at First Baptist Church of Tahoe City is-

"First Baptist Church of Tahoe City seeks to love, serve and support our Tahoe community and beyond in all that we do by sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ and working toward a world where everyone can know the Love of God."​​​​​

North Tahoe is a community that’s always shifting. With so many people visiting our beautiful town for brief outdoor adventures, ministry can look a bit different here. Even so, we are deeply committed to caring for the people who call this place home year-round.

Across the lake and throughout our resort town, we have many opportunities for ministry. Wherever we are—on a ski lift, in a preschool classroom, at a park on the waterfront, or anywhere in between—our desire is to show God’s love to every person we meet.
