Laura Garrett

Interim A+ Preschool Director

Originally from Coweta, Oklahoma, Laura Garrett made her way to Lake Tahoe in 2024, bringing with her a warm spirit and a love for connection and learning. She is a proud graduate of Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in History with a minor in Women and Gender Studies. Laura also holds a Certificate of Mastery in Child Development from Tulsa Community College, reflecting her deep interest in education and human growth.

When she’s not reading her favorite series — Red Rising — or hiking through Tahoe’s scenic trails, Laura enjoys cozy nights with friends playing Ticket to Ride or UNO around a bonfire, complete with everyone’s best appetizers. At home, she’s joined by her beloved cat, Cleo, who adds a bit of charm and mischief to her everyday life.

Laura is on a deep and growing faith journey, continually exploring what it means to live with purpose, compassion, and grace. Her life reflects a balance of curiosity, community, and a heartfelt commitment to growth.
