We are excited to announce a new job opportunity for a Preschool Assistant Director and Site Supervisor. This position requires strong leadership skills and a passion for early childhood education. You will be responsible for supervising staff, managing program operations, and ensuring high-quality care for all children. Through our preschool (3-5 years old), you will have a chance to mentor children. This happens through conflict management, bible stories, cooperative recreation, and free play. You will have an opportunity to support children and families by showing up at their sporting events, sharing your positive attitude, and living out your faith in real and tangible ways.

 

The candidate must have: 

• An active and growing Christian faith 

• ​Willingness to join in with the faith life of First Baptist Church 

• ​Excellent understanding of the principles of child development and preschool educational methods

• Excellent communication and instructional skills

• Ability to act as mediator between children

• Cool-tempered, friendly and reliable

• At least 12 credit hours in early childhood or family studies

• If the candidate does not currently meet State of California Site Supervisor qualifications, First Baptist will pay for the necessary classes.
